More Lassen Volcanic National Park! Lava rock piles at Butte Lake.
The trail leading to and the assent of the Cinder Cone (6907ft) at Lassen Volcanic. A grueling hike but worth it once you reach the top. What looks like a pile of asphalt is a giant lava field at the edge of the forrest.
